About Us

Keezhattur PHC started as “Government Rural Dispensary”on 19/03/1974 in a rented building at Kondiparamba, Keezhattur Panchayath. On 01/02/1990 PHC was shifted to our own building at Poonthanam Hills, near Poonthanam Illam, Perinthalmanna Ootty road.

Programme started with a mass rally.Panchayath President,Vice president,members,medical officer,hospital staff and asha workers all gathered infront of the panchayath office.Rally started at 10 am.Everyone had placards showing anti tobacco slogans.After the rally the panchayath president conducted anti tobacco pledge before the audience.Welcome address by medical officer and class about  adverse effects of smoking and use of panparag by health inspector.Programme ended at 12 noon.
